Fundamentals of Object-Oriented Design in UML, Page-Jones. Non-fiction. More professional development. This is easily the most enjoyable professional development book I’ve started during my extended vacation. Page-Jones does an excellent job of keeping the topic fresh through a variety of examinations, and demonstrates along the way that it is possible to use a variety of different example sets while working through complex material.
I rather got the impression that Mr Page-Jones is not necessarily a big fan of UML as it has been standardized, which I imagined gave the book a bit more incisive coverage of its strengths and weaknesses than might have come from a true believer.
I’m strongly considering actually buying this book.
